So, just to remind you all, if I suddenly become inactive for a while (A week or two) it's because our internet got turned off. It's bound to happen, but for now I'm using it for what it's worth!

Where has the peace of our childhood gone?
It's been washed away in fear.
Where is the hand that I used to hold onto?
I'm reaching, but it disappeared.
Where has my long lost treasure been taken?
It slipped out from my grasp and fled.
Where's the smile you used to show me?
Can you still show me after death?

I've been running in circles, it seems
to find what I've misplaced.
Without what I treasured most
my heart is now a vacant space.
Maybe if I cry out loud
my precious things may hear me
Maybe I am lost to them
and they're trying to find me!

What happened to the world I saw?
It's all in ashes and swirls like snow.
What is this thing I'm looking for?
I'm sure at one point I used to know.
What will happen when this ends?
Will I grasp that hand again?
What is keeping my treasure hidden?
Am I cursed to walk alone?

My circling's getting smaller, it seems
but I'm no closer to what I've lost.
I've given up almost everything
just to find what remains lost.
Maybe if I reach out further
my hands may finally find it.
Maybe they are reaching too
but neither of us knows it.

Why am I still pressing forward?
The skies are growing dark.
Why haven't I found my treasure?
This heart, these legs have traveled far.
Why is this thing so precious to me?
I think I forgot long ago.
If it's so precious, I would have found it
so why can't I let this thread go?
