Hello! Let me begin by saying I'm very sorry I've been away. I know, I know, I know I promised I wouldn't let Tumblr consume me, but I did. I am horribly addicted to Tumblr. I mean, a lot of other things have changed to, starting with my having moved all my activity completely over to the ol' tumble machine.

Let me first begin by saying this isn't my resignation. I'm not going to delete me dA or anything, it's just... probably going to collect a lot of dust. dA isn't really all that fun for me anymore. There's so much more interaction on Tumblr- here it's more like I'd spit out pretty art and people would admire it briefly. On Tumblr I have friends with related interests and people to talk to... it's just really fun. I'm finally enjoying myself.

Secondly, I've become really obsessed with Magic, the Gathering. Like... wow I love this game. Like... words cannot describe how much I enjoy Magic and the game and the characters and the story. It's wonderful. It's plastered all over my Tumblr.

Sorry for this bit of inactivity, guys. I'm going through a bit of a financial rough patch and it's kind of hard to find the time to sit down and be creative when you're worrying so much you're breaking out. I do have plenty of ideas and things to draw for others, so it's only a matter of time. Just hang tight with me for a second while I regain my bearings and we'll be off to how things were before.

In the mean-time, I've been sort of active on Tumblr, if you happen to have one of those. I normally just reblog stuff- things I find silly and stuff relating to Magic the Gathering- but from time to time I dump sketches there still.

So what do you call the level of closeness where you can just start looking at porn with your boyfriend... like casually?

SHUNsama recently finally allowed me to have knowledge of all the hentai sites he frequents, and it literally turned into me just looking and laughing at porn while he played Assassin's Creed. Like we weren't caught up in the heated throes of foreplay or anything, we were just hanging out, and I just happened to be reading MadokaxHomura porn. It didn't strike me as weird at all.

He also showed me one of his favorite hentai artists, which felt awfully special to me.

The only complaint I had about the entire thing had to do with the fact there was Magic the Gathering porn... and literally all I managed to find were two images of Jace and Liliana fucking. Just two. Oh, there was plenty of Liliana to go around (including one full doujin where it was just her watching Chandra grow a penis and fuck Nissa... which was an awful waste because there was hot futa-lesbian action, and Liliana did nothing but watch)(she didn't even strip) but there was little to nothing with Liliana and Jace doing to no-pants-dance! I found this much more upsetting than I should have, especially since the first image I finally managed to come across made me laugh (which, if you're looking for straight up porn of your ship, isn't what you're out to do...).

In stark contrast, there was an entire doujin of Jace and Chandra (*pouty face*) but Shun warned me not to read it. Apparently the artist made Jace into a "big, sweaty nerd" and they only talked about whose card was more expensive. Just... all of my nopes.

Remember when I said I was just going to draw Jace Beleren and nothing else? I wasn't fucking kidding, and now I have eight straight pages of nothing but Jace stuff. Several times without a shirt. A few times without pants. Twice making fuck (naturally with Liliana)(anything else makes me itch with concealed shipping rage). I'm trying to play it off like I'm practicing drawing the male form- and albeit I am getting practice, it's really not what I'm officially drawing Jace over and over again form.

I'm just a giant, flailing Jace fangirl and draw him all the time to feed my stupid fan-cravings.

I'm want to keep drawing him again and again until I find a sketch I feel is worth cleaning, just so I can throw a drawing or two of him on here for fandom's sake. I'm just a little terrified to, because the way I draw Jace is a combination of... several Jaces- Mainly Architect of Thought (aspects of the outfit)and Memory Adept (other parts of the outfit, but mostly THE HAIR OH JESUS). I see him getting drawn all kinds of ways, but there's this natural fear in me that is terrified of drawing inaccurate fanart.

So... yeah. I've officially drawn him 27 times to date within the last... two days? (I draw several sketches per page) I think this suits the term "raising the floodgates" pretty nicely, I must say. I'd make a mind control joke here, but...
